book #2 paper towns

hey y'all! i know we are only 13 days into the first month of the year, but i've already read 2 books! i don't want to brag, but i kind of feel like a super reader for finishing 2 books in less than 2 weeks into the new year! we won't talk about how the first book was 3/4 of the way finished when 1/1/2015 rolled around :)


anyway...book #2

since a read the fault in our stars last january, i kind of fell in love with john green. i love the way he writes....it's funny, but it also makes you think deep thoughts! and his books are easy to get lost in. with this book i kind of just had to finish it before i went to sleep. i looked at the clock and it was 11pm. i still had 100 pages left, but i had to finish it last night. i had to know what happened. 

as i finished the book, i wasn't 100% sold on the ending. but on the other hand, no other ending made sense either. i don't want to give anything away, but it just wasn't a satisfying ending to a book that i just HAD to finish! 

but, all in all, it was enjoyable to read. i was entertained. i couldn't put it down. and it was a quick read. i love books that i can get into right away....i don't like books that drag on. if it drags, i won't finish it. i just won't!
